1. General Provisions
 
1.1. This regulation on the provision of academic leave to students at the Kainar Academy has been developed in accordance with order No. 595 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2018 "On approval of the Standard Rules for the Activities of Educational Organizations of the appropriate types."
 
1.2. This Regulation establishes the grounds and procedure for granting academic leaves to students (hereinafter - Vacation) studying in educational programs of higher and postgraduate education (hereinafter - Students) at the Kainar Academy (hereinafter - the Academy).
 
 1.3. Academic leave is granted to students on educational programs of higher and postgraduate education due to the impossibility of mastering educational programs on the basis of:
 
- conclusions of a medical advisory commission at an outpatient clinic for a period of 6 to 12 months due to illness;
 
- summons for conscription;
 
- birth, adoption (adoption) of a child before reaching the age of three years.
 
1.4. Academic leave is granted to the student an unlimited number of times in accordance with the documents provided, which are the basis for granting leave.
 
1.5. This Regulation applies both to students on a state educational grant and to students on a paid basis.
 
 
 
2. The procedure for granting academic leave to students on a paid basis
 
 
 
2.1. To obtain an academic leave, the student submits to the registrar office an application addressed to the President of the Academy in the form in accordance with Appendix 1 to these Regulations, an identity document, and relevant documents, depending on the grounds specified in subparagraph 1.3 of clause 1 of these Regulations.
 
2.1.1. The application for granting academic leave for medical reasons is accompanied by a certificate certified by the medical advisory commission (VKK) of the medical organization, with a recommendation for granting academic leave.
 
2.1.2. A copy of the agenda of the Office of Defense Affairs (at the student's place of residence), containing the time and place of dispatch to the place of military service, is attached to the application for the granting of academic leave in connection with conscription.
 
2.1.3. A copy of the child's birth certificate is attached to the application for parental leave.
 
2.1.4. To grant leave to a student at the Kainar Academy who is actually caring for a child as a guardian, a document from an authorized body confirming the relationship or a document on the appointment of guardianship is attached.
 
2.2. When accepting documents, the COP specialist verifies the authenticity of the copies with the original documents and returns the originals to the applicant. COP refuses to accept an application in cases of establishing the inaccuracy of documents, an incomplete package of documents according to the list provided for in clause 2.1 of these Regulations.
 
2.3. The Office of the Registrar reviews the application and indicates the start and end dates of the academic leave. After consideration of the COP, the application is endorsed by the head of the department, the director of the DOUP and the vice-rector for educational and methodological work and sent to the President of the Academy for signature. Within three working days, on the basis of the submitted documents, an order is issued on granting the student an academic leave.
 
2.4. When granting academic leave to a student on a paid basis, tuition fees are suspended for the period of academic leave.
 
 
 
3. The procedure for leaving academic leave for students on a paid basis
 
 
 
3.1. The vacation ends at the end of the time period for which it was granted, or before the end of the specified period in the form in accordance with Appendix 2 to these Regulations.
 
3.2. The end of the leave before the end of the period of time for which it was granted is carried out upon the student's application for the end of the leave. In this case, the following documents are attached to the application: the conclusion of the VKK, a copy of the military ID.
 
3.3. On the basis of the student's application for leaving the academic leave, the specialist of the DOUP, within three days, removes from the archive of the Academy a personal file and examination-rating sheets for the period of study.
 
3.4. The office-registrar service, on the basis of examination and rating sheets, determines the difference in disciplines in the curriculum and, in accordance with the mastered prerequisites, sets the course of study, taking into account the direction of training, the profile of the educational program, academic achievements and student results, recalculates the acquired credits in accordance with the educational program and approves the student's IEP.
 
3.5. In accordance with the visas of the head of the department, director of the preschool educational institution, lawyer, vice-rector for educational and methodological work and the resolution of the president of the Academy, an order is issued for admitting the student to the educational process within three days. An individual curriculum is formed for those admitted to the educational process in connection with the completion of the vacation.
3.6. Students who are on academic leave for a period of 1 (one) year, patients with tuberculosis, chronic or acute mental illnesses, as well as other viral diseases that pose a danger of infection and a threat to life for others, upon completion of the leave are required to provide a certificate of VKK and / or medical results. examinations with a doctor's conclusion and with an indication of the continuation of studies at a higher educational institution. In the absence of a certificate from the VKK, the possibility of continuing education or transferring to another educational organization is decided on an individual basis.
 
3.7. If the date of leaving the academic leave or leaving on academic leave of the student does not coincide with the beginning or the end of the academic period, then the student, in parallel with the current training sessions on an individual schedule, performs educational tasks, passes all types of current control provided for by the work curriculum approved President of the Academy, receives admission to intermediate certification.
 
3.8. To eliminate the difference, the student, in parallel with the current training sessions, during the academic period attends all types of training sessions, performs training tasks of a certain module, passes all types of current and midterm control provided for by the working curriculum for these disciplines (modules), receives admission and passes final control during the period of intermediate certification of students according to the academic calendar.
 
3.9. Upon leaving the academic leave, tuition fees are set in accordance with the payment for the current period of study.
 
 
 
4. Additional conditions for the procedure for granting (and withdrawing from) academic leave for students on a state educational grant
 
 
 
 4.1. When granting academic leave to a person studying on a state educational grant, the right to study on a state educational grant remains with him and the financing of his studies is interrupted (with the exception of financing the expenses envisaged for the payment of scholarships in accordance with the established procedure to holders of grants who are on academic leave on the basis of medical conclusion) for the period of the presented academic leave, which is renewed after its end.
 
4.2. The Academy sends a copy of the order on granting an academic leave to a student under a state educational order, financed from the republican budget, to the authorized educational body within three working days to adjust the corresponding amount and terms of financing this program.
 
4.3. The state scholarship is not paid for the period when students are on academic leave.
 
4.4. For students returning from academic leave, the appointment and payment of state scholarships is carried out in accordance with the established procedure in accordance with the "Rules for the appointment of state scholarships, scholarships established by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, rector scholarships."
