The ACADEMIC COUNCIL is created by Order of the Rector and is one of the forms of collegial management of the University.
The activities of the ACADEMIC COUNCIL are based on the transparency and transparency of the discussion of issues within its competence.
The objectives of the ACADEMIC COUNCIL are:
making decisions to create the necessary conditions for students and the teaching staff of the University, in order to successfully implement educational programs;
providing financial support, strengthening the material and technical base of the University;
to promote the further development of the University.
The competence of the ACADEMIC COUNCIL includes:

approval of the University structure;

amendments and additions to the University Charter;

creation, reorganization and liquidation of educational and scientific departments of the University;

defining the concept of University development;

decision-making on all fundamental issues of the organization of educational, research and economic activities of the University;

listening to the annual reports of the rector, vice-rectors, heads of structural divisions on the forms and methods of conducting educational, research, educational, financial, economic, informational and international activities;

review and recommendation for the publication of textbooks, teaching aids and educational and methodological developments;

making a decision on transferring students from a paid department to an educational grant and to study in the form of an external course;

approval of topics and scientific supervisors-consultants of undergraduates on dissertation research;

organization of control over the financial and economic activities of the University;
-
approval and awarding of academic and honorary titles, personal scholarships and prizes;
-
consideration of issues of granting University staff, creative teams to government awards and honorary titles;
-
consideration of other issues of the University's current activities that require a collegial decision.
The ACADEMIC COUNCIL consists of the Chairman of the Council - the rector, vice-rectors, directors of departments, heads of academic schools and structural divisions, representatives of teaching staff, student and public organizations of the University, employers.
The ACADEMIC COUNCIL organizes its work on the basis of an approved work plan for the academic year. Meetings of the Academic Council are held at least once a month in accordance with the approved work plan for the relevant academic year, if necessary, meetings of the Academic Council are held unscheduled.
